Count me in! I'm sewing some Molly Mine Crazy Baby blocks just for fun. I'm also trying to join blocks and rows for a batik Juxtaposition throw. I've gotten all 104 blocks sewn and pressed. I could always take a whack at tidying up and organizing things. I'd really like to get the batik throw done. Have fun everyone!

I will try and join in this weekend. I have five origami bags to make for gift bags and a pilllow or tote to make for a neighbor kid I think is darling. She is a sweet sour type kid and that cracks me up. four/five maybe? Anyway I have the main image made and quilted, so we will see what it turns out to be.

For sure I will spend some time quilting. My project at the moment is a panel project which I am not happy with, but will persevere and hopefully it will keep someone warm once it is finished. Love to hear and see what others are working on, thanks!

I finished piecing my quilt top all 2.5" squares, 852 of them. I found a back in my stash. I pressed top and back, just need to piece cut offs for the batting. I will have a quilt group work day between Christmas and New Year's Day to layer this one.
I took some time to look at UFOs and found several that need backing and all need layering. I see a productive January of finishes. All are simple and will do straight line stitching and donate to Project Linus.
On to my next project for this VQW. Plan and cut the pieces for a wool applique heart for my daughter.
I will be back tomorrow with my next project. So many projects to pick from.

I am only watching others progress this weekend. I have some cross stitch projects to finish. I’m definitely slower at this than quilting. Also have guild Christmas party tomorrow. Hope to see some great pictures form you all

Did some big stitch hand quilting this afternoon and now back to my panel project. Many things I would change if there would be a next time 🤪. For now, I am adding more machine stitching to try and have an equal spacing…. My biggest booboo….I used a plush blanket for the backing…and also added 80/20 Hobbs batting….so this “project” has become poofy…and wavy here and there 🙄.
oh good grief…now my photos isn’t giving me the option to resize…. Will edit if I can.

I'm in for working on something, but not sure what at the moment. I finished making fabric envelope pouches for candy, hot chocolate packs, and lottery tickets for the people at my local grocery that I inter-act with on a weekly basis. I have 6 of those ready to pass out on Tuesday. We're getting freezing rain here currently and it is suppose to add up to maybe .4 before it's finished so I won't be going anywhere....good time to sit and sew and watch TV. Who knows what I'll work on today, maybe a quilt top or more Kennel Quilt Pads.

Is nice to hear the chatter
I was a happy solo quilter for decades but then I discovered the fun of guilds and work groups and being among other people who understood my desire to cut fabric...
I made a couple minor mistakes in my cutting yesterday but decided I could live with it. Today I'll be sewing and see if I regret the decision.
It was a good thing hubby was able to get the day off work. MIL is resting pretty comfortably but it is down to the waiting for now. She was a good woman, I am lucky enough to love/adore my MiL.

Iceblossom, Check out the Vornado space heater. It heats the room well and is small.
I completed several blocks yesterday before getting ready for a Christmas party. White Elephant. I came home with the cutest Summer Santa mixing bowl and cookie cutters. And lost $3 at LRC.
I am a hunting widow this weekend, so I hope to get lots of pixels stitched.
I have reentered the cross stitch hobby and am enjoying it. My current project has 9 or 10 shades of blue! Hard to distinguish the shades!
