Ashley, my Handi Quilter is not a fan of my own wound bobbins, and believe me, I tried and tried! They throw off the tension and I can spend as much time winding and then trying to balance the tension again, as quilting a throw sized quilt. It is a PITA!!! But my machine loves the prewounds. I don't have to do a thing except choose the colour I want to use. To me, that is a total win/win!!
