Looking for this pattern

This looks like this might start with layer cake pieces, but dark background and thinner strips and maybe thicker sashing. https://www.etsy.com/listing/4359034...-quilt-pattern It doesn't indicate that it starts with layer cake and the blocks are twisted rather than all going the same direction.
It is similar to the Topsy Turvy 3 yard quilt, but still different. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/topsy-...9083408181352/

It looks very similar to the Big Block pattern by The Quilted Twins. In their version, the "L" is pieced from scraps but you could probably cut single fabrics to width and length. Big Block pattern The quilt you're searching for has all the blocks going the same direction while the Big Block pattern has them set in different directions giving it a "tossed" look.

Trying to picture in my head and then sketching on graph paper I finally figured out that you need to trim the one .5" trim on the 10 by 2.5" strip that you cut from the layer cake, right? The 7.5"x 2.5" would not need to be trimmed as the way the row (sashing if you will of the trimmed layer cake) in between is constructed./
