That is so adorable. I can imagine the baby playing, trying to touch the animals & raising her head.

Oh way too cute. LOve the bright green inner border--really ties the quilt together along with the fun fabric in the outer border.

What a great quilt. The child can enjoy it for years beyond infancy as it doesn't scream "baby". How nice of you to make it for them.

That looks beautiful, and perfect for a girl. I think you can skip over the intermediate classification and go straight on to advanced! :D

The blocks are 5.5" finished. They were supposed to be 6" finished, but when I cut the focus fabric, I cut them at 6" instead of 6.5". I knew that if I recut them, I wouldn't have enough for the borders since it was a directional fabric. I just trimmed down the 4-patch blocks and then put the top together. Nobody will know but me and now you guys. Don't tell...it's our secret!!
Thanks so much for the wonderful comments!! I see evn DH posted ubder here using my ID...what a guy!! I appreciate saying that I am an "advanced" quilter!! That really means so much to me considering the caliber of quilters on this board. I feel like I just graduated from the ultimate college!!

The quilt is now completely done..just need to finish tacking down the binding. She better love this quilt or I am taking it back!! I'm so in love with it!!
