Mopped kitchen floor, did three loads of laundry, changed bed, and then had to go to town to pick up hubby who took his car in for service and found it is going to be much more extensive than he thought so had to leave it there for a day or so. I thought about telling him he had to wait and take the bus home (which wouldn't be coming this way for another 2 hours), but decided to be nice and go pick him up. Have to go have lunch soon and then hopefully can get some sewing done this afternoon.

- Hydrangeas are my all time favorite! I hope mine get that full! I planted 3 new varieties this spring and they seem pretty happy so far!
- my 11 yo DS has his play-off baseball game tonight too. I hope he wins, but having it be the last game of the season would free up some evenings for us!
-I hope you all have a terrific rest of your day!

Cutting pieces for several batik quilts. I finally decided those batiks I've collected over the last several years need to get used. What am I saving them for? So decided to cut up various sizes to make several quilts.
Went to the library and grocery store as well. Need to finish up cutting but thought I'd take a break and what you all are doing. Everyone's busy as bees!

The girls and I are going to shuffle things around in the house so it's easier to get around. They have the majority of the house packed. I still have a week and a half here before we load the truck and drive to our new home in Colorado.

Well let's see: made a loaf of pumpkin bread and cut up a hugh bowl of fruit for breakfast with my mom, sister and great niece who came for a visit. Picked up the grandkids, cleaned up the breakfast dishes, packed some things for our trip tomorrow, cleaned the carpeting, upholstery and mats from my van, washed 3 loads of clothes and now I'm sitting here reading all of these messages. Oops, GS wants ice cream. Off to get him some.

Got a pedicure (thanks to a Mother's Day gift certificate from my son and his wife), hubby spent an hour at Half-Price books while I was there, then we went to Central Market for lunch and some shopping, then the library (to get an exercise video for older, larger, curvier women to try out), then home to watch a movie and finish my 11 log cabin blocks. All the logs are now on  Tonight we are going to a friend's house to water plants, feed fish, etc. They have a pool they have been encouraging us to use, so I bought a bathing suit (first one in 25 years) and I'm going swimming!

I'm cleaning/organizing the sewing room. I need to rearrange the sewing machine so I can see the birds at the feeders while I sew. The cats (Bitty and Elmo) always "help".

I have cut out fabric for about 20 totes - to sell in the fall at local craft fairs.
