    Thank you so much, all of you! These were so much fun to make. I'm still doing traditional quilts, mainly for my grandchildren and Quilts of Valor, but these art quilts are my love.

    UltraFractal is a fractal generating software available from www.ultrafractal.com. I took online classes taught by Janet Parke, a fractal artist, in how to use this software. These classes are now available as e-books on the UltraFractal website. Fractals are self-replicating, mathematically generated patterns. I've no clue how this works, but just playing around with the software can teach you a lot. Some patterns are pure garbage, others are breathtaking.

    As for recreating fractals in fabric, I used the same fused raw-edge technique as I did for Beach Baby and Driftwood Beach.
