    Wow you guys are fast! The table topper pattern is also known as the crazy eight strip teaser pattern. Thanks everyone for all your help!!!

    Yes Dawn it is an Amish pattern. I just went to an Amish quilt sale last weekend and they sold several of them. They sold 175 quilts in all in three hours. It was amazing. I bought one top. Amish Dahlia.

    I have just made a similar 12" block this week! My version was called the Double Card Trick. I can post pictures later tonight. I was thinking of naming my block "Snowflake" because of the fabric I used.
