    Oh, I almost forgot. Mine has the wood spoons. Sure came in handy the other day.

    Sandi.. are the wooden spoons secured into the handles any way? or do they just "stick" in like the dowels do? I thought about using them.

    Tippy my SIL has one like that with the wooden spoons and they just slide in and out so you can use them if you need to :thumbup:

    Did you use insulbrite? I lined mine with insulbrite which worked wonderful. I took a casserole out of the oven just before we left for a cookout this summer and I was able to hold it on my lap. We didn't eat till 3 hours later, and it was just as hot as when I took it out of the oven!

    LivelyLady.. on the inside wrap I used Thermolam which has a "core" of silver fabric then there is a batting type layer on each side, sort of needle punched together. For the outer wrap I used a stiff fleece that is sold by the yard and is pretty dense. so it is well insulated would be comfortable to carry on the lap and stay nice and warm in the carrier. Also liked the fleece to "support" the shape on the outside.
