    Hadn't heard of/seen that happening before. Maybe mine wouldn't show so much, I have the plush and it might hide the marks easier :shock:

    I can't figure out why they haven't invented a cordless iron yet. They have cordless everything else.

    This reminds me of what happened at work once......a girl was ironing some tablecloths for a retirement reception and this very thing happened to her....at work.....she was so scared, but everything was okay. Then when they remodeled our office and put new carpet down, someone cut that peice of carpet out and framed it and gave it to her at our Christmas party that year. It was hilarious...thanks for the reminder of great memories.

    They do sell cordless irons, but I didn't like the one I had.

    Well, at least it didn't fall on your toe. I would just tell people you customized the rug. Thanks for sharing, it did give me a good chuckle.
