Something personal to the couple would be nice.

My daughter told me she wants a flure-de-li in the middle of a quilt for her wedding quilt. Anything the bride and groom like could be a wedding quilt.

My nephew is getting married summer 2011 and they have a dog named Bear. I thought I'd make the 'bear paw' pattern.

My partner in our business did several Log Cabin blocks, black and siver variations, and had wedding guess's sign them at her wedding. Then she put them together for her keepsake wedding quilt.

The Amish traditionally give the Rose of sharon, Only to be displayed on the wedding night and special occasions. Its applique and a little more time consuming but well worth the effort.

Judy Niemeyer has a wonderful pattern called diamond wedding ring and a few other variations. I did the diamond wedding ring for my daughters wedding. I changed the colors and the applique a bit. You can google Judy Niemeyer and look at her web sight to get some ideas. Lovely quilts. They are paper pieced which makes it soooo easy! I'm not affiliated with Judy N, just love her quilts. Good luck!
