I know there are people that are less fortunate than I and just need a reminder that the world is not mean. And besides, I get more out of giving than they will receiving

What a great find at a fantastic price :) It is an adorable quilt and your quilting is beautiful! The charity who receives this quilt will be so happy to receive it.

I was checking your little quilt out again and noticed that it looks like you bound it with the backing pulled around. Is that the case? I only ask because the was a thread about this recently where the mother thought it was cheating! I think it improves it.

@ bjnicholson - My mother taught me that. So much easier, faster and looks just a good. Also, the "binding" does not come out. I have a quilt on my bed that gets washed at least 1-2 months and I have been using it for three years now. The binding is still in tack.

How adorable! Very nice quilting, too.
I'm getting ready to quilt a baby quilt and then will do the "fold over" binding using the backiing. I think it's just fine to do this. It seems to make the front and back flow together.
