    kd124 and Loretta.....Thanks for your kind words....still deciding......haven't been to Dads to drop it off....they live 3 hours from me so with price of gas....I wait till I get a full load before I make a run....

    Any ideas???????.........anybody?????

    Loretta....yeah that sounds good....I thought maybe a small stipple around the plates....and something in the black.....even a swirl type of a thing....and something in the square of the star...and maybe a scallop for the outer border????? What ya think?

    See!!! I just recieved verification for my strong feelings concerning your lovely quilts. You have a wonderful sense of color and design. To me a great quit has to reflect the right fabric mood and that only comes from either experiance or natural abillity.

    Thanks for bringing this up for us newbies to the board. I really like the way you are so generous with your explanations of techniques and mini quilt classes complete with pictures , no less!

    I took a class with my serger last december that was a huge poinsettia table topper. It was (in a small way) made like this. A very fun afternoon and fun to use it during the holidays.

    Sorry this seems to be getting too wordy. I love your quilt, it is absolutely fabulous! Love your black borders. What did you decide about the quiting? Have you gotten to it yet?

    RedGarnet222......Thanks.....I enjoy reading what everyones comments are.....sure makes me feel like I'm on the right track......I don't get out much....I have this one done....it is under " Dresden Plate finally done".....and it took awhile but came out so nice.....I'm pleased with it anyway....:-)
