Would really like to have a case like that. Have several machines that would look good in one

I'd have guessed a 99, but there's no hole in the front of the case for the kneebar....on the other hand, I guess maybe not ALL 99's had them, (don't honestly know for sure) but there's not a lot of space inside those bentwoods for foot pedals...Originally Posted by Mollie'sMom

If you don't have the boat shuttle call up Cathy. Never know what is in one of her lockers; they are like an endless pit.
Thanks!! After I see what comes with the machine I may ask you for her phone number. I have no idea what was in that bag/box of stuff shown.Originally Posted by vintagemotif

Thanks, Charlee...I'll join that group. I'm going to need bobbins and maybe a shuttle...don't know yet what I'm going to find in the attachments bag. He didn't show pics of those.

Janice, you might also want to join the Yahoo group for the Davis machines...they have a lot of files and information there! :) There are also step by step photos of how to disassemble and reassemble the machine's faceplate where all the action is!Originally Posted by jljack

Well, JaneK came through for me and said she had one for sale. I of course said I'd buy her, and she arrived today!!! Ethel Jane, after her first 2 owners, will be going with me tomorrow on a quilt retreat for 2 days. She got her just in time!!! Thanks again, Jane. You really made my day!!!!
