Would really like to have a case like that. Have several machines that would look good in one

Are we guessing???

Singer 28, handcrank. ;)
Singer 99
I'd have guessed a 99, but there's no hole in the front of the case for the kneebar....on the other hand, I guess maybe not ALL 99's had them, (don't honestly know for sure) but there's not a lot of space inside those bentwoods for foot pedals...

Janice, you might also want to join the Yahoo group for the Davis machines...they have a lot of files and information there! :) There are also step by step photos of how to disassemble and reassemble the machine's faceplate where all the action is!

(My machine, on that page, is the New High Arm Vertical Feed, almost halfway down the page)
Thanks, Charlee...I'll join that group. I'm going to need bobbins and maybe a shuttle...don't know yet what I'm going to find in the attachments bag. He didn't show pics of those.
Oooooooo....the boat shuttles can be hard to find! :(

If you don't have the boat shuttle call up Cathy. Never know what is in one of her lockers; they are like an endless pit.
Thanks!! After I see what comes with the machine I may ask you for her phone number. I have no idea what was in that bag/box of stuff shown.

Wow, Glenn, that machine and cabinet are PRISTINE!!! Wonderful work!! I love her....and my birthday is in June, so you can start packing her up right now!!! :-)
Quote: Remember when I said that finding one 1945 Featherweight out of only 20,000 made in the year was like looking for a needle in a haystack? Well, JaneK came through for me and said she had one for sale. I of course said I'd buy her, and she arrived today!!! Ethel Jane, after her first 2 owners, will be going with me tomorrow on a quilt retreat for 2 days. She got her just in time!!! Thanks again, Jane. You really made my day!!!!
Great, Janis!! I like happy stories!! You'll love your little FW...they are great fun.
