Actually Judith1005, there are two different fabrics in the pumpkin, a total of 5 strips. They just match really well.

Great job everyone. I like what everyone has done so far.

I'm at the gathering fabric and deciding which 6 blocks to make. I have several blocks on the list, just need to start making them soon.

Love love the pumpkin block with the purple background .. You are correct it makes the pumpkin stand out.

Let me understand this. We are making 6 sets of four or four sets of six? I'll have to go back and read the directions. I have seven different sets cut out and ready to go. Three sets totally done... Need to finish sewing down the cats and I have pumpkins to sew down.

I still wasn't happy with the center block on my last one so I tried something different. Unfortunately I cut the stripe fabric wrong so it really looks different. I am posting both pictures and tell me which you like better.

The colors are really off. The first one shows the true colors. I just had a "duh" moment. I didn't cut the stripe fabric wrong. I sewed it wrong.

I really like the first one I don't think it need to be changed but if it bugs you (I know how that is) try another solid like black or that blue thats in the ghost stripe.
