    Terri,
I really hope you get the condo you want. It will all work out, you made it this far.

It might be time for you to try handquilting  . Just a little project to take the edge off of your nerves...

Of course, that would require SHOPPING for a hand project...

    Just an idea....

I see a shopping trip to Fabric Hut in your future Terri......lol! It's on Little Creek Road in the same strip shopping center as Sonic. ;-)

And after the quilt store, Sonic would be a good place to stop and get that cheeseburger, fries and diet coke   (I always say that if if you have a "diet" drink with your meal, it negates all the calories in the burger & fries....   )

lfw....I already found Fabric Hut. lmao!
I had actually been there before, believe it or not. Many years ago tho.

We have an appointment to see the condo on the golf course today. Have to run to the library and get some papers printed off for the property manager, then meet up with him to view the place.
Bill FINALLY got in touch with Fr Mike and we got the info for his place. Bill is wanting Fr Mike's place, but I'm wanting the one on the golf course. It's MUCH bigger. Fr's place is 1850 sq ft and the golf condo is 2500+. Plus...it has 2 dens, so Bill can have "his" room too. :)

    UPDATE!
Looked at the condo on the golf course.
It would be perfect, but the rules the condo association have are stupid!
We would mainly be prisoners in our home. Can't have anything outside on the patio...why have a patio? Have to make sure cars are ALL THE WAY on the parking pad. Must have at least 3 ft from end of car to road. Hmm...then why do all the other people have their cars sticking out? Oh yea...it's because the condo assoc doesn't like the people who have rentals. IDIOTS!!
So, the golf condo is actually out. Looking at 2 places today, so hopefully one will be just right

We have friends who call the Homeowners Associations Door Police, Patio Police and some really unsavory names. People get elected to those boards and become Nazis. Glad you found out BEFORE signing a lease!

Oh yeah, those condo rules sound really bad. However, there are also some neighborhoods that are as bad or even worse...

    Good Luck today !! :D

I agree that those Rules sound so silly! And a lot of older additions here are forming Homeowner Assoc. & trying to implement such rules. It has its + and - I guess. But geez. Get realistic about them! Nothing on your patio??? Terri I sure hope you guys find just what you are looking for very soon so you can get settled in. Hang in there.

WE FOUND A PLACE TO LIVE!! WOOHOO!!!
    Here's the listing on it.
    http://norfolk.craigslist.org/apa/1745968432.html

We met the landlord and he and his wife are very nice. The backyard is wonderful with a small gazebo. Really cute. I went in that, looked up and there was a nest with a ring necked dove. Looked at the momma and said she was ok, she could stay, I wouldn't hurt her. There's a persimmon and a plum tree in the backyard and the woman told me she would teach me how to make a dish out of the fruit. The landlords are Philipino, so I'm sure there are some tasty dishes they make. :)
The house is a little over 2000 sq ft and there is a room JUST FOR ME!! It's 3 bedrooms and one of the bedrooms can be a baby room for when Lauren comes with the babies. Now I have to find a crib for the room. There's a fireplace for cool/cold nights and it's just a nice house. The kitchen is a bit dated, but that's ok, it adds charm to the place. I really love the place! We didn't even discuss rent and all and the man says "if you want the place, I'll rent to you right now". OMG!! I was almost hugging him! They don't mind the cats and aren't even charging us a deposit for them!
Have I mentioned that I love the place? I had made a comment about a garden and the lady says "right over there (pointing) we had a nice little garden". So, I'm thinking I can have a small veggie garden. The place is just perfect! Did I mention that I love the place??
