Another week of no cutting! I don't have anything to take my attention from putting Indigo Way blocks together this week, so maybe I can make some good headway. Very intrigued on what will come next from Bonnie; I'm completely mystified thus far.

    Thanks, Gemm - that's a great idea!

I have clue 3 done and just started clue 4, still progressing on clue 5. Not even starting on clue 6 yet, maybe tomorrow. I do have another 4 day weekend coming up next week so hopefully I'll get caught up soon.

Well, my sewing plans just went up in smoke ........... my sweet Ellie (Elna 500 electronic) decided to stop working. Now you may wonder, doesn't she have a 2nd machine?, yes, yes, I do ......... a really sweet Singer 99, but she is being rewired at this moment with no completion date. <sigh> guess I'll be making more progress on my EPP project instead.

Sync, I love the Hanukkah fabric peeping through in your blocks!! Precious! The killings in Australia on the very first day tempered the celebration this year all over the world. I refuse to allow haters to steal joy from celebrations.

Today is the second day of Kwanzaa -- Joyous Kwanzaa to all! On the second day self-determination is the focus in this community-wide event. Is anyone using Kwanzaa themed fabric or colors in their Laughter and Lupine quilt in the QB, I wonder...?

Keep up the good work in here, ya'll. I love lurking!

Gee, Sync, that's rough. I guess timing is everything! Hopefully, you will be back in business soon.
Your purple and whites are looking terrific. It's going to be a great quilt.

I have been an absolute slacker, but I have done some cooking and a lot of TV watching!

Status unchanged -- I think I am going to sit down and make great progress but I am making great excuses

Hope you are all feeling good about your current status

Iceblossom - I saw some units made on the Quiltville Open Studio that looked like they were using your colorway. I say this to encourage you on your color choices. Check it out if you have time. The units (both piecing and colorway) looked really good. I'm sure yours will too. Can't wait to see some pictures of your clue 5 and 6 when you have time to finish them. It's going to make a beautiful quilt.

I always liked when the reveal was consistently on New Year's Day, although many others did not, as that meant a colossal amount of work was included in the last clue. So I can never help wondering if New Year's Day will be it. It hasn't been New Year's Day in many a year, as I think Bonnie has gotten lots of positive feedback on the mysteries going longer. Plus she specifically named 1/2/26 as the day to look for part 7.

By my calculation, we need another 115 4-inch equivalent blocks to make the finished dimension. Of course borders or strips and cornerstones could take a majority of that.
