    It will look fine with more than one color on the binding. It will be like you added your own special touch to the design.

    the different colors just gives the quilt more character!!!
    I hate to do that... course silly me did it with the borders on my Mom's quilt.. took it to a retreat to get them on and drat it I didn't figure right size once I got all the blocks together...so now what to do... had to tear the 3 off & cut again as you know you can never get different blacks to match..... oh well.. measure SEVERAL times before sewing!!! lol....

    Good deal on finding the scrap material. I usually find what I'm looking for after I don't need it. Won't be long now till the grand baby will make his arrival.

    I think scrappy binding makes quilts far more interesting! Anyway, if somebody asks-----of course you did it on purpose!

    I have done that also, use pieces from the front of the quilt and it will look like it was planned that way.

    I've always liked the look of different fabrics joined for the binding. Gives the quilt a little extra pizzazz!!.
