Sounds like my chair, think it was 49.00, and its wonderful for me since I do have lower back pain most of the time...

Great idea - I have one - I'll use it & see how it feels.

I have an office chair, no arms. Easier to get up and down. I also have a fit ball which I use from time to time as it makes me improve my posture. I can't use a dining chair as my back aches and I'd be out of action for a couple of days after.

When I sew on the machine..I stand up..but when hand quilting I sit on the couch and sometimes will take it out on my front porch when working on a square..

I have an executive office chair with arms, but sometimes my back does start acting up. I have my eye on a drafting chair with a foot rest that goes all the way around.

I use a secretary's chair. The height and back are adjustable and it has 5 wheels. I constantly get up and down, good for my back and circulation. My sewing machines sit on an iron table from a sewing factory. It can be adjusted for height too.

I hope to get a "saddle chair" no arms or back. I have seen them at some of the quilt shows. A lot more comfortable than they look.
