When Quilter's Newsletter had the PinPal section, I answered an ad of a woman named Susan who wanted to exchange blocks with other Susan's. Turns out I was Susan Gail and she was Susan Gale. Fate. We became very best friends.

We placed the name, Stormy Wendy Gail, on the AKC papers of our first child, a Dachshund. She was named for the awful storm through which we traveled to get her. We called her Wendy.

My middle name is Gail. Growing up I was always addressed as Gail instead of my legal name Maureen. My Mum says that my dad started using my middle name. In grade school I wanted to change the spelling so I always printed/wrote it as Gayle because I thought it looked nicer! After high school when I had to start with all the legal documents, drivers license, marriage license, etc....I reverted to my legal name of Maureen, which I personally like better anyway!
