I did the same thing when I made 2 peach cobblers. I caught it before the second one and scooped it out of the 1st one. My husband didn't seem to notice.

I remember one time when I was little, my great grandmother put cornmeal in the kool-aid by accident. She said a few choice words as she strained it out. It was funny to us kids, but my mom and aunts were almost hysterical because the preacher was in the living room during ggma's rant. haha

So the next day he decided to surprise me with french toast, with dill, paprika and parsley.[/quote]

Now I could redeem that by making a sandwich by adding a couple of slices of strong cheese, putting a weight on it and browning it more in butter.

That sounds good to me...

LOL. I can remember when my mother-in-law came over with some fresh peaches to make a peach pie.She was an excellent cook. I came home from work looking for the peach pie, mouth watering. Instead of the sugar she grabbed the salt. Oh my.

I am apprehensive about writing this. Lol, I made banana bread without flour. I can't blame hubby or kids or in-laws. I am guilty.

Me, too, making banana cake. To make it worse I had doubled the recipe to have an extra cake to freeze.

How was the one with cumin? Maybe you've discovered something good. I once grabbed the wrong bottle and made cinnamon meat balls. Didn't work out too very well.

My MIL made a beautiful pair of pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving one year, made 'em from scratch. Beautiful, but inedible! She'd forgotten to add the sugar...

When my daughters were maybe 10 & 12, they made scrambled eggs for breakfast in bed for me for Mother's Day. They put cloves in the eggs. The coffee & toast were good :D
