Hi there & WELCOME!! From very, very hot & very dry N Texas. Won't it be wonderful when FALL arrives, which usually means cooler temps? We should remember these days when it is very cold in winter. Think we'll have winter temps comparable to these hi ones of summer? Hope & pray not.

This is a wonderful site. I spend wayyyyy 2 much time on it.

Hi again -- there are a lot of quilters in The Woodlands! -- and lots of them come to the monthly guild meetings at the Community Center (full parking lot!)(next is Sept 7) -- yes, it is hot, but forecasters are hoping we will have some relief toward the end of the week -- I'm certainly glad that the hurricane didn't come our way, but we need cooler temps and some rain!

Welcome from very hot North Texas. We are on our 62nd day of 100+. Glad to have you & you have already seen some of the benefits of this board. I was raised just north of The Woodlands & have relatives down that way.
