    I would probably buy the mottles first, but would buy both. Love batiks.

    I buy a lot of batiks, mostly the water colors. But I do like the others as well.

    Watercolors, hands down over the mottles...I want to choose my own color combos, not leave it up to someone in Indonesia. That said, I don't buy watercolors much at all...the variation of pattern is too large for my taste, even if it is all the same hue.

    Love them both, but as far as versatility the watercolors would be more useable to me.
