We've had a couple mornings down into the 50s but still upper 80s low 90s in the daytime around here. Have actually had rain twice since the fires. But only about an hours worth each time. Somebody said we'd have to have about 15 - 18 inches before the burn bans could be lifted as it has been so terribly dry for so long.

Ugh! I like the colder weather, but hate the snow and ice.

For a week we have had temps in the upper 70s - mid 80s, using AC again, had used furnace a few times, especially at night, I want cool enough weather so I don't have to use either. Cool, cold weather with or without snow is fine with me. I hate heat.

SNOW? On Long Island, we usually don't see any of the white stuff until Christmas-time (if we're lucky)

sssssh don't say the s word I'm in Ontario and the nights are already cold enough to turn on the furnace. God I'm not looking forward winter at all! Hope you've got good snow tires and I hope this is not a sign of a long winter to come.

Last night the high country around us got snow I can see it from my drive way. The last day we saw snow was June 16 so only about 2 1/2 months with no snow for us, it gets shorter every year.

Well, we got about 4 inches of that 'white rain' today. Suppose to get more tomorrow, too. I suppose it is time but I never like it.

No snow here since our Blizzard which gave us about 12'-18' of snow on April 30. We are suppose to have rain here for the next couple days in on the prairie of the dakota's. We've had several nights of frost warning, but that was a week or so ago.

I'm so glad I just renewed our snow blowing service contract those men are live savers! They hit about 4am to blow you out so you can get to work, and they're back mid afternoon and after the city plows have been through. Takes them 2 mins with a big John Deere tractor.
