yup. becka hit it. it is a business that runs war games, but not paintball. they only "play" in groups of four or more, they require specific gear and weaponry, and it looks like anyone who was in or interested in combat might enjoy a go at it. your father might have gotten it from someone who thought it was cool, or he may have picked it up at any number of advertising opportunities (like a mall, a gun show, a sports show, etc.) funny, the things we find in our folks' stuff. i can imagine my kids shaking their heads in dismay at the junk i've acquired along the way. i envision the world's biggest garage sale after i croak!

If the bottom comes off, it looks like a dandy needle case to me.

It does look like a keychain , would that be a bullet for a shotgun it looks big in the pic but I don't know much about guns. Looks like a keeper maybe it's really gold. Good luck with it. Sue

DH doesn't know. For some reason I'm thinking it is an marketing gadget for a beer or Tequila.

reminds me of a pin farmers use to attach implements to their tractors.

Brass goes into rifles and pistols. A shotgun shell is soft sided and contains buckshot.
