Do you do much hand quilting yet with your start with quilting? I think some hand quilting would be wonderful around the flowers and small pieces. Then stitch on the lines like you mentioned wanting to do. A border of the same fabric after a small border of one of the colors in the fabric. After the border of the same fabric, end the work with a solid color of probably the Pink. Do the binding with the Blue, and I think you would have a lovely piece.
