    Good job! Never thought of painters tape. Don't know why. I use it on my longarm patterns.

    thank you very much for your answer.... I am machine quilting for the first time, a reversible big quilt with different color in it... it is not my first choice but I can not handquilt anymore for now because of very painful thumb and I sincerely like your choice of thread!!!
