    I see nothing wrong with the eyes, I have an outside tiger cat that is cross-eyed and 10 years old. Love your block and looks easier than those that Lynda designed. Can't wait to see your other creations.

    Thanks for all the lovely comments. As to the question of a pattern, I just looked up coloring pages with snowmen, and then found pictures of animals and put them together. I put parchment paper directly over the computer screen and trace the shape. There are so many wonderful, free pictures to be had. This one was easy as the snowman has his hand out, so I put the kitty next to him, and it looks like he is petting her head. I'm having a blast picking out fabrics and other stuff. One future block will have an owl, and my Jim saw owl buttons in Walmart and got them for me.

    Yes, I am still pining for Massachusetts. We have had only one half inch of snow here. I really miss it, however, I am not the one who has to go out and clear the driveway....
