Quilting she - Your Christmas quilt is so cute - I love it, and you did a beautiful job of applique. It reminded me of a picture we received in e-mail from a friend of ours recently. It was a snowman standing on the edge of a highway with a sign that said, "Florida, please."

donnajean -that is very nice. I like it, even though I don't normally care for purple - but yours is very pretty.

This one was a mystery quilt from several years ago -- I enlarged it from a throw size to queen size, doubled the borders and twisted the blocks. It's one of my favorites.
Is the pattern available? It's beautiful!

Could you tell me where the pattern came from, please? My children live in the mtns. and this would be a wonderful Christmas quilt or wall hanging. Thank you.

This pattern is from Connecting Threads. You quilt the strips as you go and then applique the large tree shape.

Here is the pattern info for the quilt picture I posed for the quilt as you go Christmas quilt.

Joy! Jolly! Merry! Quilt as you Go Lap Quilt

My Daughter chose this pattern and fabric for this Christmas Quilt which will be hers. I ordered the Pattern from Connecting Threads and it is called "Sharing my Joy #199 from Suzn Quilts by Susan Marth." I like the size of 42" x 70". The Quilt as you go method made this project faster to complete. The pattern also includes instructions for place mats and a table runner.
