You could get a postal scale and weigh several different measured lengths of fabrics to get an "average" of what a yard weighs and just weigh the fabric to get a fairly close guesstimate.

There is a difference in weight per yard -

If you need to get rid of some, I could use some yardage, jelly rolls, fat quarters & charm squares. any kind as long
as it is cotton for quilts.

I'd be afraid of the results if I tried to calculate the yardage. In this case I'm in favor of the "What you don't know won't hurt you" theory.

I don't know how much fabric I have but I can put all in one small box. I started sewing last year, and here in Portugal the Fabric are very expensive ( 15€/ yard) Maybe when I move to Canada it will be easier

Have no idea, have 28 rubber made tubes full that I was given last year, made 9 quilts (queen size) out of them .

I don't know how much fabric I have but it makes me happy & I'm always happy to buy more when I can. All of you know it is in our blood & we need our fabric! It is a part of our life. Isn't it fun???

I collected fabric for 15 years while I was working because I was going to use it "someday." I am 69 years old, and now I realize that if I live to be 130, I will never use all of my fabric. Now I have just a few chosen people that I allow to come into my quilting room and select fabrics. The price is always the same--$0.00. I cannot make myself just strip the shelves all at once.
