    Squaring up blocks! Hate that.

I do love cutting and piecing. Quilting is not my favorite but I don't hate it.

Buying more fabric and looking at inspiration online seem to be my favorites!

I found this hysterical! Poor you! Hugs!

Okay, I'm sure YOUR "unseating" and MY "unseating" are totally different things.....but I thought at first, "Yeah! I hate getting up off the chair repeatedly too!!

Liked the look and the lack of hand sewing. My fingers really get locked up sometimes when I am holding the binding down for hand sewing even when I use clips. Guess I hold it to tightly.
Yes! The binding with a flange is new to me, too, and something I'm going to try. It gives the quilt just that much more "appeal", I think.

Oh, I hate that, too. And for that reason, I usually don't, choosing instead to backstitch...which doesn't look nearly as good but gets it done. I don't do FMQ, just straight line and curves, using a stitch on my Brother 450Q. I'd like to FMQ but haven't done it enough yet.

The actual quilting I leave to a Long Armer - but don't mind the binding.

    1. Dislike basting the quilt sandwich. Now I use Elmer's School Glue and it's a breeze.
    2. Dislike cutting. I bought a die cut machine. Love using it.
    3. Disliked sending quilt out to LA and being disappointed. Learned to do great Quilt as You Go for a large quilt.
    4. Pressing binding in half. Stopped pressing it.

    1) Squaring up blocks is boring but a necessary evil. 2) stitching down applique

It's funny, but when I really love the fabric, I don't mind the chores. Even cleaning up isn't as bad.

Squaring up the unit in a block--so tedious but so necessary!
    cutting--reason I got a GO!
really repetitious quilts--where you make a million blocks alike.
Having any type of machine problems!
    cleaning up--so I avoid it!
