    Thanks everyone. I had a fun time piecing it and learned a LOT. I'm already looking for my next pattern to make after I get this one quilted.

    this is gorgeous. The colors are wonderful. I have a dd that just loves purple, and if she saw this, she would say "let's do one like that." It looks good. Can't wait to see it quilted.

    Looks like the teacher is in a minority of one! I love the colours - you have the patterned main fabric then the other two which pick out colours from it - it's perfect! You have a good eye - don't let anyone tell you otherwise! :D

    I think you did a great job on color choice. She should have pointed out that you have a focus fabric and picked colors that matched. Great Work!!!
