I'm in! I'm working on a western themed quilt for our Rodeo Queen's banquet raffle in a few weeks. Looking forward to a weekend of sewing. All your projects inspire me! Thanks!

Thank you for again hosting this VQW!! The main thing on my plate is binding a charity quilt that will be displayed at church NEXT Sunday. It's been hanging around for a couple years now. Haven't done much sewing in the last couple weeks as I have had company twice and son and DIL coming in on the 20th for Thanksgiving. Haven't seen them in over a year and a half, so anxious about that. I'll post a pic when I finish the binding and decide what else to work on.

    I'm loving all the pics!
Unfortunately, I'm not off today. However, I AM getting to "work from home" (dial in on the computer) so I won't have the commute to deal with, so I may be able to participate a little today, more tomorrow, and some on Sunday.

I REALLY have to complete the quilt that is on my frame by Sunday night. It is the "challenge quilt" my longarm group does each year. I'll post pics ASAP once I finish. Fingers crossed for a REALLY productive day tonight and tomorrow.

Thanks for hosting this - I'm hoping someone will do another over the "Black Friday" weekend, and I will NOT be fighting the horde of shoppers that day!!

I'm going to be starting a retirement quilt for the receptionist in our office building. She's retiring mid December and I mostly have weekends to quilt so I need to get moving! Fabrics are ironed and laid out and ready to go and I put most of the stuff from Quilt Festival away this week. I'm ready!

This is my layout of the children's sampler quilt I'm making. I think I'm going to make sashings out of purple and cornerstones of bright green. The quilt is a bit orange-heavy, so I'm hoping the sashings help balance that out.

That's going to be gorgeous, Thimblebug

I'm working on finishing up the first of the collaborative pieces that I started with another artist this past summer. It's taken me a while to figure out how to put it all together into a coherent whole that's ready for hanging, but I think I've got a plan I can work with--lot's of thread painting.

Suze, that is a gorgeous pattern. Good idea to take your time with this quilt.

sewbizgal, love the bright and cheerful colors. I'm working on the quilting of my hubby's quilt and I'm almost ready to roll this section down, then I'll be at the halfway point.

I can't decide where to go with this. Add more brown? Another blue? More green? It's 60"x 80" now and I'm wanting 100" x100".
