Shoulder bag/tote
#21
Pete, I haven’t found the pattern but I used the tutorial from “destashification.com” and adjusted it to my liking 😁 like for instance I made my base round and not rectangular. I just made a trial bag as my daughter wants one and i don’t want to mess up the fabric she chose. It turned out quite nice and i made all the mistakes in this one so won’t make them next time!!! I will post just as soon as I’ve done both 😃

I love how creative you are with adjusting that pattern! Making a trial bag first is such a smart move, especially if you’re working with special fabric. It’s nice when you can play around with details like the shape of the base or add/remove elements like ties it adds a personal touch. I’ve tried customizing bag patterns before too, and it makes the final result feel more unique and tailored to your needs.
