    Love your quilt and QOV is such a worthy group to sew for. Yes, I am old enough to remember the Air Mail letters that my mother received from her brothers and nephews during WWII. They were so eagerly awaited and treasured. They were on a very light weight paper. As sad as the war was it was a time of unity in the nation because we all had things we could do for the war effort-even children. We collected newspapers for school drives for one thing.
