    I like the one to match the background of the blocks and then bind it with the same as the sashing. I find the multicolored piece competing for my attention with the blocks themselves.

    Yes, to using the paw prints for the backing. Think that would be really cute!

    Definitely the paw prints. The green really doesn't add any interest, but the bright print brings out the colors in the monsters.

    I love to make "monster" quilts, what pattern is this?

    Monsters are outrageous, happy creatures and want to be bold. The footprints add the whimsy that the monsters demand. I love your monsters and some little person will too.
    p.s. Just my two cents, but I think red binding would be fab.

    I like the white w/the prints too; sets off the quilt. The green blends in too much (IMHO)
