    I just looked at how to do a convergence quilt and it is different in that you don't cut the fat quarters apart and re-arrange them the way you do for Ricky Timms quilt. His looks more confusing to me. (Maybe it isn't but the tutorial I saw made it look that way.)
    This one is also done on a background, QAYG.
    Just different techniques.

    Thank you, Watson. The convergence technique is actually pretty simple, but is not quilted or attached to backing until the very end. Knowing this difference, I may want to try the interleaving technique!

    That's really pretty. I love the colors & everything about it. It looks hard to make & I'll take your word on it that it was fun to make. Thanks for sharing this new technique.

    The trick is to have two cutting boards and put one set of fabric on each for cutting and then just go back and forth, only cutting one slice at a time so you don't get mixed up. Once you try it, you'll understand what I mean.
