Your tatting is wonderful and kudos to you for carrying on a traditional craft. I have my grandmother's shuttle and she taught me years ago, and I even took a class years after that, but would have to look over my notes to remember. I also smock, knit and quilt so it's hard to find the time for everything...........sigh.

Thank you! I tried the shuttle method and just couldn’t wrap my brain around it!

After reading this again, I searched out needle tatting, I had no idea it could be done without a shuttle, very cool!

Your tatting is wonderful. My mother tatted with a shuttle and I have many of her tatted hankerchiefs which I treasure. She tried to teach me to tat and I just couldn't "get it". She kept saying "it's so easy". I felt like a failure because I do many other crafty things. Oh, well ....
