Spent a chunk of today searching out UFOs and what do you know, I found some. I now have Numbers 10, 11, and 12 for my list. I hope I can get them all done this year as well as the few quilts that I have promised to family. Yup, I have extra UFOs too, but they will have to get in line for 2026.

Yesterday, I stopped by a local shop and found a back for my #3 UFO quilt at 50% off! Okay, it is only a baby sized quilt but it will feel good to have a finish. Yeah! Layered and started channel quilting. Just about 6 inches more channels to go and then square up and bind. Fingers crossed to get it finished this weekend. Are you making progress on your January UFO.

Good going WMUTeach!

I found my list of UFOs I made a couple of weeks ago. But between the BH mystery and quilting some tops for the upcoming prayer quilt ministry meeting I haven't made any progress. But I will. I pulled the two I want to work on first and will get cracking hopefully this next weekend. I'd really like to have the first one done this month.

No progress on my #3 UFO quilt but I have a good excuse. I had Christmas today with my daughter, SIL and grands. This is the last one! When folks travel for their Christmas, it messes with everyone's celebrations. We had Christmas breakfast for dinner and then shared presents and stories of three days off of school because of very cold weather.

Back tomorrow to finish the channels and add binding during my regular quilting zoom with three other gals from my quilt group. Three hours of chatting and quilting. Priceless!

Been getting quilt show entry complete. Sewing is finished. Need 4 quilt descriptions written. Then I'm going to quilt a UFO.

Congratulations on the entries to a show! Lots of work I am sure. We will see you around the bend with a UFO off your list soon.

I finished the #3 on my list, a Yellow Brick Road baby quilt. Its state of unfinished was that it had a few completed and a few uncompleted blocks, and that was it. I had to finish the blocks, assemble, put on borders, and quilt it.

Here is my Number 3 finished. If I am recalling correctly it was started about three years ago, sometime in those COVID days. The top was done, but no back and it needed quilting and binding of course. I found back on sale and went for it.

The second is also a finish from my list so now I have an open space to squeeze in another. Anxiously awaiting what number is up for February. That small factor is motivating for me. YES!! I will check back February 1 and get started. In the meantime, I have plenty of other projects to work on.

I love the colours in your first quilt, WMUteach. I've gotten stalled and so won't have a UFO done this month. Have the top together on #3, but won't have time to quilt before tomorrow. Ah well, next month is a new month.

Thanks for the color "like". I had those lovely turquoise squares lingering in my stash of 2.5 Inch blocks for some years and it was just time to move them on. Made the top but it had ruffles in some of the white triangles, so it got left in the UFO basket. I was able to quilt out most of the ruffles and it will go in my Project Linus pile. In fact both of those quilts will be Project Linus donations.
