Oh well, the weekend has rolled around again - I'll be putting some more work into my Dad's wallhanging...no pressure - just needs to be ready in 11 days!

Hi Bronny----I am new to quilting also. I love cross stitch!! Like you, I am more of a stitcher than a quilter! But that quilt bug is biting harder and harder!! You will find if you spend any amount of time 'hanging out here' that the bug bites more and more!!
I am in an all male household too. It's just hubby and I but all the pets are MALE!!!! and trust me, that counts, especially when they are CATS. Dogs have owners, cats have STAFF!! :-D
Enjoy this site, you will get so much encouragement here from all over the world. WELCOME!!!

Hi Bronny, and welcome to the group.
One of my quilts went to a friend of mine in Geelong, for her new granddaughter in Melbourne.
I, too, do all kinds of other things, ( painting, knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, rug hooking, doll and bear making) but sometimes, combining crafting skills can make all of your efforts better. And you never have time to be bored.
The wonderful people on this site will jump start your quilting engines, for sure.
