I just found my fabric order waiting for me.
    Well, I'm a little disappointed.
The fabrics feel like Joann's-type fabrics.
    Is that normal?
I guess I was expecting an LQS feel.

Plus the yardage is messed up.
    I ordered 3 diff. fabrics--
    1. should have been 4 yds, but I got only 1 1/3yds
(they charged me for 4 yds)
    2. should have been 2 yds, but I got 2 2/3yds
    (charged for 2 yds)
    3. should have been 4 yds, but I got 4yds 6inches
    (charged for 4 yds).

I ordered 10 yds total and got 8yds 6 inches, and I realize 2 fabrics were cut longer than ordered and I wasn't charged extra.
I haven't contacted them yet but that's what I'm going to do right now.

Edited---they refunded me for 3 yds, and said fabric #1 is no longer available. They were very nice about it. I just got an email confirmation of the refund and I see it says the S&H will not be adjusted.
Why not? The order didn't weigh as much as it should have?
Well, I think I'll order from them once more and see how it goes. The fabric looks like it did on their website (you know colors sometimes look different) and as I said I was expecting a more LQS feel, but I'll give them another chance. I love having fabric come to my door. And they did make an adjustment for me.

Well, color me surprised! I have never been unhappy when I have ordered from them. Any time there is less fabric available than what I order, I have always received an e-mail advising of such and requesting what I would like to do.

As for the "hand" of the fabric, I have never found the fabrics to be less than LQS quality, but I generally order fabrics that are well-known names (Timeless Treasures, Michael Miller, etc.).

As for getting MORE than what you ordered, their standard yard is 37 inches. Sometimes you get a little more, but never have I received less (unless there is a shortage as stated previously). The shipping is likely not something that can be adjusted in this case, as shipping is priced according to a weight "range" as a general rule.

Please give them another chance; I have never been unhappy with their quality or service, and I order from them all the time.

Yes as I said I will try them once more, then make my final decision.
The fabric I received doesn't feel "bad" just not what I expected and that's not what I'm surprised about anyway.
