Maybe the gov't needs to come in like they did AT&T and break them up???????????????? You have heard when they went in; it would be the downfall of the small stores. TRUE TRUE TRUE. What really grips me the most is now they have run the SBO out they have also quit selling products!! We have to drive a long distance to go to a normal store.

This is their MO. I worked for them for years. They really did me wrong and now I refuse to shop there and try on a daily basis to convince people not to waste their money there. YES! Sam Walton is doing cartwheels in his grave for what his children have done. My father knew him, I've met him and his wife was a very lovely woman. I can't believe what they've done with his dream. I could go on forever about all the wrongs they've done me, but what's the point? Just don't shop there and don't give them your money!!!

I am sooo in agreement with you all. I hate walmart. I swore when they removed their fabric I wouldn't shop there anymore. Unfortuneatly, I've had to eat my words alittle but I only go there if *absolutely* neccessary.

I am not a Walmart shopper. I do not like Walmart's "fake" low prices. I am a coupon addict and have managed to save quite a bundle at our local more expensive grocery store. It takes persistence and time but it is well worth the effort. This week I saved $60 with my coupons!! Honest. The cashier was totally shocked. Before my DH retired I wouldn't waste my time clipping coupons.... I don't like off brands, I said. I'm not running all over creation to save a couple of dollars. Well, I don't have to run all over creation and I'm saving far more than a couple of dollars. And coupons are for brand name products. I keep track of my monthly grocery bill on excel and the coupon savings too. (See, I told you I was addicted to this!) So far this year I have saved over $600 with coupons alone, but I do buy off brands also and save even more.

Here is a link that changed my shopping life!

I won't shop at Walmart, they have destroyed the small businesses. I was a floral designer for 25 years, worked in small mom and pop owned shops and then opened my own shop. They would buy in huge quanitites of flowers at holiday time..and I just couldn't compete with their cheap roses. They didn't last..were low quality..I carried premiun roses. I don't trust their brand either..had to come from over seas. I am blessed to live in an area with some really wonderful grocery stores...so..I buy only from the other markets. Walmart is the downfall of America..greed, greed, greed. I am now done my ranting about Walmart...Buy American!

Sounds like a great idea. Will it all fit in my 1/5th acre lot in a housing track ? Most of us just don't have the land to grow our own. Home grown sure does taste better tho and doesn't have all those pesticides.

Just checked the HOA regs. and darn not allowed chicken or calves in the townhouse complex. Some of us have to live and work in urban areas.

I am sure you want to mean well but, be careful, it is gonna hurt when you fall off your high horse. :(

I don't shop there (not sure if there are any around here anyway) but I love how riled up people get over the store. My friend and I like to share some of the more colorful anti stories. For that, Wal-Mart, I am thankful.

Of course, we also like to fun on the worshipful Target shoppers. Good times.

I go there once a month to buy two bags of bird seed. ( it's the only kind my parrots will eat. ) If I could buy it elsewhere I wouldn't set foot in there. I hate shopping there.

I have also noticed that the brand selection has changed dramatically at wal mart. I never have liked their meat or produce departments and refuse to buy any of it. But I try to buy less and less from them. I very seldom go there anymore for many of the same reasons the rest of you don't. The wal mart of today is not what Sam Walton intended.
