What a little doll he is. I'm so glad he is doing better now.
Bless all those who share their quilts with children. I cannot think of a better cause. Hang in there Kbiederman.
We are all thinking of you and your little guy!

I have been in the hospital with both of my younger kids. It is so scary! I am so glad he is doing better and you are getting some answers. You are blessed indeed with your angel baby! He reminds me of my oldest with that white blonde hair. My daughter didn't get a blanket when she was in the hospital with the flu, but she got a big beanbag bear she still has and loves. She remembers that she got it when she was sick.

Your son is gorgeous! You have been doubly blessed: son out of hospital looking so happy and 2 quilts .

Thanks for sharing the story so we know that the quilts DO get delivered and the children love them.

warm quilt hugs, sue in CA

This smile says everything. If more quilters could see the faces of the children and their families, we would all be sewing like crazy. My heartfelt thanks to all who donate so much time and fabric to these projects. Our community has just begun PL in our area and response has been unbelievable...50 quilts in less than a month after first notice went out, plus money and fabrics, yarns donated like crazy so those who can not afford materials can use their talents and time.

And you don't know how much it means to those of us who are part of Project Linus to see your adorable little one, and know that he is one who will be okay.
We seldom know where our work goes, and just to know somebody's work brought joy and uplifted spirits at a bad time makes it all worth every minute of the time we put into them. Your story tugs at the heartstrings and uplifts our spirits.
God bless both of you. :)[/quote]

My sentiments exactly. When we do get word of how much a recipient likes the blankets it gives me the kickstart to get back to "work". I've been a Blanketeer since January 2007 and have enjoyed every minute of it.
