I got the cat in the hat panel to make a baby blanket and then I got a 1/2 yard of everything else except for the 2 prints that had a bunch of other characters on them (like horton and stuff), those I got 1 yard of each. I think I have about 10 yards of fabric!! If I can't make a quilt with that ..... LOL

I am planning on making one lap size quilt for myself, and I will fussy cut the other characters besides cat in the hat for that one, then I will make another one with the leftovers for my son. :) Then the cat in the hat panel will be a baby blanket for a friend, so I'll use the more cat in the hat prints to go with that. I think I'll still have fabric leftover after all that anyway!!

I am very excited though, this is the first time I have bought more than 2 prints in a single line!!

I'm not sure how many quilts will come from all this fabric, but it'll be more than one. I know that for sure! Have fun with yours! :)

Mine came in the mail yesterday!! It's even prettier in person isn't it. :) :) I just love looking at the nice folded stack of fabric. Now I have to sit down and really think about what I want to do with it for a pattern. It's pretty busy fabric, so I'll probably have to throw in some matching solids or soemthing to give the eyes a resting spot ....

    Cheers!

I looooove Dr Suess!!!! I read the books to my son so often I had them memorized. I will definitely have to find some, especially thing one and two (that's what we call our son and his best friend).
