I've seen bags with the slippahs (that's what they are called in Hawaii) on them in a few of the stores in Hawaii. They go for a pretty penny.

Great work! Wonderful design! I too have made bags but from patterns. I sold 3 at a local paperback bookstore on consignment. I don't like selling anything so she is doing it for me. Isn't it a great feeling when someone buys it? Your designs are really clever and would sell like mad around here.

Glad you liked the idea! My daughter did that for her wedding. Turned out really cute. The inside date of when the friendship was established was a hit.......most of the girls remembered the month but not the year they met. Most still have their bags and now are using them as baby totes..........AAAAAHHHHH that would be a good one as well. Put a baby boy or girl in a diaper looking over their sholder on the outside with all thoses compartments.........and the list goes on!
