Patrice, I think that woman is a friend of the fat woman that keeps sticking her head in front of me whenever I get my picture taken. What a sly bunch they are!! If you turn the camel skin over, you don't get those humps.

Incomplete Pattern Instructions- When you make it a point to order a pattern or buy it in the store (especially if it involves a new technique you want to learn), you get it home and discover the author failed to mention certain small but pertinant steps. Kinda like walking up on a stream that cuts through the road with no bridge to crossover on. (You can certainly tell the proof-readers and editors are not quilters.)

That's my 2 cents for today!

Purchasing fabric from a quilt shop and find that one of them is POLY. The bolt said 100% cotton, but the burn test says otherwise.

I agree with you regarding Joann's coupons - but with Hancock Fabrics closing over 100 stores - does that mean Joann's will get more picky with their coupons??? Ahhhhhhhh - I long for reasonably priced quilt shops !!!

Now wait a minute... I step on the cat a lot too. But only one. The other three cats are a bit smarter. Now who's fault is that?

    1. Taking the time to make sure everything is the right size and the seams are exactly 1/4" and they're pressed...and still the blocks don't line up quite right.

    2. Having 3 or 4 seam rippers, but not being able to find one when you need it.

    3. Calculating how much fabric I need only to realize after I bought the fabric I had forgot to calculate the yardage for the back of the quilt.

    4. Every frustrating thing a rotary cutter has to offer.
