I used to do it a lot. Then I switched to only sexting my bf while he was in training (cell service was awful there).

Now I only text when I know he's on post and can't take a call. And, it's important info like "benign tumor."

I pretty much ignore all other opportunities. I like talking and listening so much more than passing notes in class aka texting.

I do, but it still takes me forever. I just have a regular cell phone and still get charged per text, but sometimes it's just easier to do that than be on the phone for a half an hour.

I text only because it the only way son and grandkids communicate...less stressful for them than to hear me say "NO" ....lol

I have 2 teen DD's, each with about 2,000 texts per month. Also have the Verizon text plan which is only $30 extra per month for all 4 of us. We all text, hubby is a little slower at it but does it just the same. We had our landline disconnected about 5 years ago.

While texting in a school zone, definitely.
Seriously, we have something that I think is unique- it is a texting prayer chain. We have 80 people in it at this point. It is very powerful... I text a little bit to other family and friends, too.

I don't I would rather have a real conversation with someone.
In Australia it is illegal to use Mobile's in the car while driving and they are considering banning hands free too.

yep, all the time. It is easier for me to communicate with hubby while he is at work. I love it. But I still like to talk on phone too. I pay $50.00 a month for unlimited everything so I got rid of my home phone and I save oodles of money every month. My friends all live in other states so now I don't have to worry about long distance bills. Have I said...love it. :-)
