Quote: What a shame, PamQuilts, I am sure you could learn a lot yourself just by having your instruction book beside the machine and work through each section. I have never had a formal lesson and have learnt to master my machines. I am sure you can do it.
There are a lot of online videos and Craftsy has some great classes to help you learn. I have a Brother PE770 in bought online so it didn't come with classes. I've taken classes online and gotten books to learn. I still have a lot to learn but I got started. Try some of the online classes to get you started.

Opps! I meant to reply to the post from PamQuilts.

Quote: Does anyone have an idea of what software extension is for a singer futura embroidery machine? I bought it from HSN and haven't found this info so far. Never had an EM,but many other sewing and also an espire quilting machine, not quite ready for a longarm
The other poster is correct, the Singer can use just about any other maker's file format. The Singer machine file format is .XXX , but the newest machines also use .FHE (Futura Home Embroidery).
If you need a list...

Katiedid2, love your blocks. What is the embroidery design and is it art format also.
I'm trying to decide on a digitizing program. I would love to have PE Design Next but can't justify the price. I think I've narrowed it down to Embrillance or Embrid. I would like to hear from you that have either of these programs what do you think of them. Are they easy to use, easy learning curve, etc? TIA
I do have PE design and Janome MBX. Digitizing. . Don't know about the 2 u mentioned. I like the Janome software, use it a lot.
Last year I embroidered bags for my nieces, SIL and grand nephew. This week I made one for ME! I use it to carry my "on the go" projects.

That is so cute! Is it an embroiderylibrary design? Nice stitch-out, Sophie
