If you have the blocks done, Post them. If you don't, you have the week or however long it takes to get them done..The only request I have is that you post your blocks in the appropiate thread..

Oh I don't have them done, you actually answered my real question which should have been whether we had that whole week to do them after the 4th. Thanks

I'm so excited to see everyone's blocks! It will be interesting to see how the different fabrics we use affects the blocks. I've chosen and prepped my fabrics for the first 8 blocks. I'm using some vintage fabrics I've been wanting to use with a few new ones mixed in. They're not what many think of as 30s colors, so I'm anxious to see how I like the blocks.

Pam, I'm going to try to keep pace with the group. I'll probably have to skip over a block or two in order to keep pace with the blocks the group is on, but I'm giving myself the full week to get each set of blocks done.

I would make the easy ones ahead of schedule so that when there's a difficult or challenging one you'll have the whole week to concentrate on the difficult one..no need to stress over it..It will be done when it's done.

I had never done PP before the FWS quilt. And, like you, I'm not fond of it either. But I do use it when I must.

Honchey-Is there a different thread you would like us to post our photos? I just want to make sure I do everything correct.

Starting August 4th and every Tuesday after with the exception of the Holiday weeks there will be a new thread for the ne blocks..They'll be listed alphabetically.. I will be abbreviating it to "The FWS 30's Week 1 etc."

I am excited for Aug 4th. I have fabric cut for 15 blocks and 4 are sewn together so far. We start school the week of the 4th too (homeschool) so I wanted to get a little head start. I am trying to make myself cut for 5 blocks and then sew 2...then at some point I will be able to just sew.

I really am getting excited about this project. I've pulled most of my 30's fabrics have the book and CD. I just need to sit down and run off a few of the blocks so I'll be ready to get started.
