    My husband picked up mail for me today, and I have my beautiful fabric post card, leaves, bookmark, and a very pretty regular card showing play money on the front for Australia. The package was there yesterday, but it came they were closed when my husband came back from his stops, and it had to be picked up when the postal lady was there.
    I know Betty J had already put up pictures of these, and her pictures are probably much better. My camera is on the bonkers.

    Betty said that she used two layers of organza that are embroidered for these leaves.

    Oh Susan (JuneBillie) I am just so pleased that this package finally arrived. Such a hard won delivery.....Express postage 23 days??? when it should have only been 5 days. I am not sure if I would ever trust Express mail again. I sent the pin cushion swap ordinary air mail and it arrived in 12 days. So I just can't figure.

    The $20.00 play money on the card is just that but a replica of our real $20.00, I guess it would be an expensive card to have the real McCoy there. Such a lovely lady I know makes these cards, her name is Dalice, and I usually purchase a few when we meet at the craft shows. She is not a young lady but makes the most glorious cards.

    I do hope you will enjoy the postcard, bookmark and the organza leaves. Like I told you this is the first time I had ever made these leaves, I enjoyed making them.

    Those cards are really beautiful! BettyJ I would love to know how you made those leaves, I would love to try that.

    Pam P, the leaves are machine embroidered ITH . I hoop two layers of organza fabric with two layers of water soluble stabilizer in between the organza. When the leaves are stitched, cut them out as close to the stitching as possible without cutting the stitching, place them in water to dissolve the stabilizer, dry, press between two layers of cotton fabric and go around the leaves with a craft soldering iron to melt the excess organza. The leaves designs I used were from John Deer - 3D Effect Fall Leaves. I use the same coloured embroidery thread in the bobbin.

    Betty J -- what beautiful embroidery you do! That's a lovely postcard, bookmark & leaves that JuneBillie received. So glad the mail finally got delivered!
