Go to Sew-Classic and look in there parts listing. You can see for yourself what you want. You can buy either a complete set up with motor, wiring block, and foot controller or you can buy them separately. Go look.

You could just remove the motor and treadle it. My 237 treadles just beautifully. You can see my machine in the Photo shop on page 39.

Been there, looked things over, (had no idea how things were sold...whether together, separately, even if you could still get parts just like the old girls had) so I've got an e-mail in to her, a list of parts sitting right here on my desk to be e-mailed back. Thanks for the suggestion and sorry for asking too many questions.

I know that I'm late in this reply and that several people have already answered you. That type of foot control (those with the white ceramic blocks inside) are not the safest type when new and when old they are dangerous. They are prone to over heating and sticking in the on position. I always recommend that they never be repaired. Please just replace it.
